Manage a voice paging environment consisting of Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) and non-SNMP based equipment. Also obtain automated reports from Glenayre and Motorola based switching equipment. Implemented Network Management System (NMS) to gather and correlated network events. Installed and configured a HelpDesk solution to track and report on Network and consumer anomalies. Automated reporting procedure to produce switch statistics on a daily schedule. Field engineers were dispatched to trouble spots on a timely based based on accurate network alerts. Switch Engineers were able to better provision paging switches based on accurate reports.

Company History

An answering machine in your pocket. That notion was the catalyst needed for the formation of Conxus Communications , based in Greenville, S.C., in 1994. The service was called Pocketalk, a service believed to be used by many Americans who would welcome the beeperlike device that could convey oral messages.
